About NW Tennis and Padel Competitions
Bringing competitive Tennis and Padel to players of all ages and abilities across Avon, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.
Our Story
NW Tennis and Padel Competitions was founded by Nic Webber with a simple goal: to make competitive tennis and padel more accessible and enjoyable across the South West. Nic saw gaps in the local competition calendar and set out to fill them by creating well-organised, welcoming events that players can enjoy. Nic plays tennis and padel regularly and really enjoys watching matches of all levels.
From junior beginners stepping onto a court for the first time to seasoned players chasing their next grade, we run competitions that cater for everyone. Our events span Avon, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, working closely with local clubs and the LTA to deliver a high-quality experience.
Our Mission & Values
We believe competition should be enjoyable, fair, and open to all. Everything we do is guided by these principles.
Accessibility
We run competitions at all levels — from Grade 6 beginners to Grade 3 advanced — so every player has a pathway.
Community
We work with local clubs and padel centres across the region to host events, grow the game, and keep competition close to home.
Quality
Most events are LTA-sanctioned, but they are all professionally organised, and structured to give players the best possible experience. We listen to feedback and take it on board.
Inclusion
From juniors to seniors, tennis to padel, we welcome players of all backgrounds, ages and abilities. We are currently trying to encourage more women and girls to compete, by running female only tournaments and collecting feedback.
How It Works for Players
Entering a competition is straightforward. Here's what to expect.
Find an event
Browse our upcoming competitions on the homepage or on the LTA Competitions site. Events are listed with dates, venues, grades and age group.
Enter via the LTA
Click the Enter Now button on any event. You'll be taken directly to the LTA tournament page to complete your entry. Make sure you are logged in as the player who will be playing the tournament. A parent and a child should have separate accounts but can be in the same household.
Show up and compete
Check your emails for details and timings once the withdrawal date has passed. Arrive at the venue on the day, warm up, and enjoy your competition. Results are published here and on the LTA after each tournament and if you have any questions, please just ask.
How It Works for Clubs
Interested in hosting one of our competitions? We'd love to work with you.
Get in touch
Contact us to discuss hosting an event at your club or centre. We'll talk through how it works, available dates, court requirements and what's involved.
We handle the admin
We take care of LTA sanctioning, entries, draws and scheduling, so your club can focus on hosting a great day. Or you may prefer us to be the host the event so you can enjoy playing, or have a day off.
Welcome the players
On the day, your club provides the courts and facilities. We manage the competition. Together we deliver a brilliant event.
